Description
The OBDSTAR DC706 Full Version + MP001 Set is a specialized professional ECU/TCU programming and cloning platform developed for automotive electronics technicians, ECU repair centres, transmission specialists and advanced workshops.
The Full Version activates all three principal DC706 software groups: ECM + TCM + Body/Other. The accompanying MP001 multifunction programmer expands the system with direct EEPROM/MCU access, additional Boot-mode capability and support for control units—including some SIMOS 18 applications—that cannot be handled by the older P003/P003+ adapters alone.
A key distinction is that the DC706 is not primarily a general diagnostic tablet or key programmer. OBDSTAR officially classifies it as an ECU Flasher designed for reading, writing, backing up, recovering and cloning automotive control modules. OBDSTAR also states that IMMO, Cluster Calibration and dedicated Airbag Reset software cannot simply be activated on the DC706 platform.
